Toothy grins as Tathra uses dentist donation on new surf ski | Bega District News

Tathra’s lifesavers are enjoying a new adjustable surf ski thanks to the generosity of local dentists. The Bega Dental Surgery and Laboratory recently donated $500 to the Tathra Surf Life Saving Club (SLSC). The funds were put towards the purchase of an adjustable Dolphin surf ski, which was recently put to good use at the Far South Coast Branch Championships held at Tathra Beach. There were also plans to use the ski at the NSW Interbranch Championships, which were to take place at Shelly Beach on the NSW Central Coast at the end of March. Surf Life Saving NSW is made up of 11 branches and 40 competitors from each branch were due to compete at these interbranch championships. Unfortunately the event had to be…
